This is a very exciting time in Newham and thank you for coming to this site to look at some of the fantastic opportunities we have to offer in one of the most dynamic boroughs in England.

We are one of the youngest and most diverse areas in England and Wales. Hosting the 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games put Newham on the global map, but we still have so much more to offer as a place and through our people. Newham is open for business. We have large areas ripe for urban regeneration and the Royal Docks, London’s only Enterprise Zone, is set to become a major new district for the Capital. You will be warmly welcomed by a vibrant and thriving community where diversity is embraced and people of all ages, races and beliefs, speaking at least 100 different languages, get on well together.

Our directly elected Mayor Rokhsana Fiaz has just celebrated her first year in office and while she and our new Chief Executive Althea Loderick are driving a bold new agenda, there is still much to be achieved for our residents. We are looking for talented individuals/leaders who share our commitment to putting people at the heart of everything we do. Come and help us build a community that supports, helps, protects and allows all our residents, but most notably our young people, to flourish.
